The RS660 is king when it comes middle weight class. Fun. Fast. Lightweight and a breeze to handle.

With every ride on the 698 it brings me back closer to the feeling I experienced years ago to why I started riding a motorcycle. Care free fun and not giving a dam. Totally my favorite bike to date.

Being self aware and having common sense can go a long way. I'm in no rush, I'm just out here having a good time and enjoying life. Are you learning how to wheelie as well?

@@ClutchFirst Not really I wheelie my 698 RVE with ease I got dirt bike experience since I was a kid, thats why I've uploaded a youtube short video for you to get motivation. Enjoy the process Cheers

@@edelduin6585 Check out my KLX playlist. I documented my learning process from the beginning. They are not popular videos but they definitely have some useful information that I discovered while learning solo. Hopefully you’ll it will help you in the process.

I’ll do a detailed How To once I’m complete comfortable on the RVE. On a good note, I have an entire Playlist Documenting day one and on with the KLX. Everything I figured out through trail and error is there. Not very popular vids but lots of useful information from someone who learned solo.

Doing it at my own pace. People talk shit but won’t put up try it themselves.

Any time! These vids are a little behind in terms of timeline. I'm way further in my progress.

You can still learn with the 950 SP, just make sure to turn off the rider aids. You'd just have to be a bit more cautious. Personally, I'd recommend using a very small bike. It helps with understanding the technique aspect.

SC Project has something really dope coming. Just wait, I’ll have a link soon. I was just saying the same thing on a video I shot yesterday. Taking it slowly and knowing your limits. I am way ahead with the wheelies. This vid was filmed awhile back.

@@ClutchFirst SC Project have that coming soon on their website for months but thanks ^^ When learning having Low RPM during a wheelie is your best friend, also use your body weight to make it come up without having the RPMs so high, shift the gears to drop them if you must. Show us your progress, keep it up!

@@joaoroussado7943 thank you for the heads up. I just came from another session and I focused on clutching up on 1st gear slowly. It’s a bit scary at first but I got use to clutching up at 20+ mph all the way up. I’m balancing much better.

Steadily getting more comfortable with the RVE. I’m guessing with a little more seat time I’ll be in my zone. Balance point, here I come.

Appreciate that! I’ve been getting a lot of seat time to familiarizing myself with the platform. However, I had a pretty shitty practice last night.

The feel is a lot closer to the Hyper SP in terms of power. However, it’s ridiculously lightweight. It’s a great combination for getting really good a wheelies quickly. Torque, lightweight is your best friend. I’d say it’s more like a BIG kLX.

I’ll do a video this weekend showing and explaining how to turn the rider aid off. Kind of a lot to explore lain in a reply.
